After earning my MA in Biochemistry at the University of Kansas, and living in every region of the country as a military wife, my family is blessed to have made our forever home in Washoe County, Nevada. We decided to relocate to Reno after falling in love with it while visiting to watch our son play for the University of Nevada football team. We found the people of Reno and Sparks to be warm and welcoming every time we were in town. Local residents struck up conversations with us to tell us about great places to eat, or great events, or special places we should explore, which made us believe that Reno or Sparks would be wonderful places to put down permanent roots. Northern Nevada offers stunning natural beauty, a great climate featuring four full seasons, wonderful people, and outstanding dining and entertainment. You will find endless recreational opportunities, amazing events, and world class education, in a breathtakingly beautiful metropolitan area.
